About Teresa Stenlund
Becoming a Realtor is an idea I had always flirted with in my head, but one day I just decided I was going to take the plunge and see what happens! It's been a roller coaster of a ride, and I've learned so much about myself along the way!
I have a degree in Hospitality Management and have worked various jobs in both hospitality and retail management before becoming a realtor, and customer service has always been a huge part of who I am so I'm excited to take the things I've learned from my past and apply that to helping my customers and delivering the best home buying/selling experience.
Also, I've always been a team player, growing up playing volleyball at a young age, playing at the collegiate level, and now just playing whenever I can... being part of a team doesn't necessarily define who I am, but it definitely has an impact on my ability to work with all kinds of people and personalities and find ways to work with everyone. It's also taught me to look beyond myself in every situation.
We asked Teresa why she chooses to be apart of Own Boise and she said, "Being part of a team is something that I knew was going to help my business grow as a brand new agent. There really isn't another team out there like Own Boise. The camaraderie, the accountability, and leadership really is something I've loved from the very beginning. Community involvement and growth are HUGE for me. It's great getting to do so many community events and be around a fun group of people who help me grow on a daily basis. My team are some of my closest friends, and we are all on board with growing ourselves as individuals and as a team together."

Favorite Own Boise Event: Our Client Appreciation BBQ, I love being able to express our gratitude to our clients by treating them to a fun afternoon of food and gifts!
Favorite Own Boise Community Service Event: I LOVED participating on RED day with the Keller Williams family! Last year we gave a senior village a full exterior face-lift. This included painting buildings, and even some landscape work. We got our hands dirty, I was exhausted by the end of the day, but I felt so good seeing the look of the residents' faces as they saw the work being done for the first time!
