Boise and Ada County 2010 Real Estate Statistics

0

The graphs above show the statistics for Ada County real estate in 2010.

The first showcases the total number of homes sold in Ada County by month in 2010.  Note the increase in homes sold last year in Ada County between the months of March and June.  These are historically good months for real estate in the Boise area, but the main reason for the spike in sales might be due to the tax credit offered last year.  Total closed sales for 2010 in Ada County is 6,091.

The second graph which depicts the average sold price of homes in Ada County is interesting as well.  You can actually see a dip in the sales prices for the same months between March and June.  This information helps to back up the increase in sales for tax credit buyers which were mainly first time home buyers.  First time home buyers are typically purchasing homes at a lower sales price then seasoned home buyers in Boise.  The average sales price for Ada County in 2010 is $184,612.

The last graph covers the average days on market for homes in Ada County.  As you can see the number is relatively consistent throughout the year with the average days on market for the entire year in Ada County being 83 days.

Tomorrow I’ll recap where we sit at today and how those numbers compare to last year.

A native of Boise, Idaho, I have sold real estate since 2005 in the Treasure Valley. Prior to my real estate career, I worked at The Home Depot, and rose to become manager of three departments at the Nampa, Idaho store.  I started my real estate career with Corey Barton Homes (CBH Homes), the #1 home builder in Idaho, in November of 2005.

I obtained my real estate license in 2005 and began selling new construction for CBH Homes.  I became sales manager for Boise and Kuna as well as the sales trainer. After years of working with a great company like CBH Homes, I decided it was time for me to broaden my ability to help my friends and family with their real estate needs.  In March of 2011 I moved my Idaho real estate license from CBH Sales and Marketing, Inc. to Idaho Smart Agents. After extensive research on what real estate companies offer the best technology, training and customer service I decided to join Keller Williams Realty.

I am a full-time real estate agent and dedicated to helping my friends, family and their referrals with their real estate needs.  Whether it be helping them buy, sell or invest in real estate, I do everything that I can to help educate them on the processes as well as facilitate their transaction.  I work almost exclusively by referral, which is something that I want to make sure my clients understand.  While most realtors and real estate agents are spending their time and their money trying to earn future business, I spend that time providing over the top customer service to each and every one of my clients.  My goal is that they will have such a good experience working with me that they can’t help but tell their friends.
